Meet Tia Evans
Tia feels a home is more than just its walls; it is the centerpiece of many of life’s most precious journeys. It is the laughter of family and the celebration of life’s milestones which make a house a home. Tia attended Raleigh’s historic Saint Augustine's University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Degree in 2003.
During her junior year, she took a Real Estate Course in which she studied Oakwood and other historic areas in North Carolina which provided her with a greater awareness of the area. However, her first true encounter of real estate as a passion and profession came when high-end, luxury Freeport, Bahamas, Estate Realtor afforded her the opportunity to learn from his vast knowledge of the industry in 2004. Tia was introduced to the world of real estate, including historic and luxury properties.
Tia has over 15 year experience in the real estate business. Her affinity for home ownership began in her youth, and was a product of a childhood mired with frequent moves. Year after year, for far too many years, she and her family moved, never having the privilege of a house she could truthfully called home. Tia has laid a firm foundation for her and her family through hard work, dedication and perseverance.
As a realtor, Tia is an avid volunteer holding steadfast to her humble beginning and passion for helping others. She dedicates time to serving Habitat for Humanity, Relay for Life, and Harbor of Johnston County, believing that giving back to the community is a core value for any firm foundation.
